Current Builds » Russ' 1969 Chevrolet Camaro

This amazing 1969 Camaro is a frame off restoration, every single part of this car is in like new condition. The engine is a true 427-425 HP engine, although not original to the car, it is era correct.

Performance upgrades to the engine include high performance aluminum heads and intake, Comp Cam, Holley duel feed carb and a host of internal improvements. The transmission is the tried and true M21- Rock Crusher. The car is painted in Hugger Orange, a special color in Chevrolet performance history appearing on legendary cars such as the Z-28, Big Block SS cars and the Legendary COPO cars. In the true street racing tradition of the late sixty’s all markings have been removed, presenting the appearance of a low cost, “base car” right down to the dog dish hub caps. To the experienced racer of the day, the “dead giveaways to the sleeper appearance” was the duel exhaust, cowl induction hood and the RWL Goodyear poly glass tires.

The engine compartment, trunk, and underside of this car show in better than new condition, the rear of course is a 12 bolt 373 Posi-traction rear. The only non-performance upgrades to the car are power front disc brakes, power steering and AM radio.
